Google definitely underestimated demand for the Nexus 7. They easily could have sold 1 million units by now, which would have set records for the Nexus line. I'm curious if and how Microsoft will respond? How well does Window 8/RT work at 7 inches? Or do they scale WP8 up to 7? digitimes.com Due to Google's Nexus 7 originally being created to test the water, Google was rather conservative about placing its initial orders and only ordered about 600,000 units for June. However, since demand for the device is stronger than expected, ODMs have already started picking up their production volumes.
