That I can understand. Anyone moving here is in for culture shock. Whites are now a minority. California is truly a melting pot with people from all over the world living here now.

I'm pretty sure that some time back, the earth tilted toward California and shook a bit until every nut and fruitcake landed here. I hadn't been to Hollywood Boulevard since I was a teenager but decided to take one of my grandsons there. What a shock!! I took him to the Chinese theater (it was the Kodak theater until they went broke), looked at the stars on the sidewalk, had lunch and left as soon as I could. Scary people up there.

But if you're into exotic food, you can find everything from all over. Not too sure Obama would find his favorite dog breed here though. I don't think that's legal. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen. There's a certain community in San Diego that has a dearth of dogs. My nephews dogs disappeared right out of his locked backyard.
