You would be positively amazed at how uninformed the people are who live here. There's too much to do to pay attention to what's going on. There's the beach, the mountains and the desert and lots of sports. Everything is geared toward youth - concerts everywhere, sports events, a wide variety of entertainment.

Who cares that Jerry Brown just signed a bill for a bullet high speed train between San Francisco and LA that nobody needs or wants? Cities are going bankrupt all over. Who cares? It doesn't effect them - they're too busy having fun.

We probably have the most lefty schools in the country with the possible exception of the ivies. The kids are taught to think lefty.
