One of the beautiful things that Sam Harris notes in his discussions of our lack of free will in reality as biological machines , what is or can discovered in the end is Compassion thru Science & teach the basis for it , not Nihilism . What is amazing to me , that men in all that state of confusion & sitting helplessly amidst the great uncertainties of the volumes of masses of this horrid history can stil find the poetry in their hearts sometimes to praise this infinite being of Destruction they have conjured up . That is true compassion present as a potentiality & hope that Science reveals , that we can still forgive this totally insane God & even write poetry about it . But definitely shows how confused it all still really is , freedom was ever a fragile thing because it has ever barely existed yet . (the forefathers in their wisdom warned ) One for giordano "Because"
