Former Penn Stater Franco Harris defends Joe Paterno
(edit: this first rate as Harris has studied the Freeh Report as i have---the fact is Paterno is Rating For The Psychopathic Predators of our Talk Show Media--that sells to people that DON'T Think. study but just reacts like a slobbering salivating Lynch Mob. No one bothers to even ponder(including Freeh) what Curley met by Paterno saying "we must consider liability". The human intelligence has degenerated, they think Paterno met liability for Sandusky's abuse children(Joe , in truth, did not believe he was guilty!)--he was simply saying you MUST follow the deal you made with the authorities to the letter, or you will be found liable.
This article , in media control propaganda fashion, with one SLUR both Harris and Matt Millen, as being patronizing syncophants of Paterno--it is comong to point where BOTH Milln and Franco will be FIRED for not wanting Paterno's body burned at the stake. This is gettinf so SICK, next thing media will want a statue of Sandusky put in Paterno's place . Our media is LOVING that Paterno can't defend himself--how neat, we will kick Paterno's entire life to death, as he can't complain.

The recent issuing of the Freeh Report along with reports of an alleged cover up is not enough to deter former Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers star Franco Harris from defending the legacy of his former head coach, the late Joe Paterno.
A first round pick out of Penn State in 1972, Harris defended the longtime coach against recent attacks and criticism of complacency for his role in an alleged cover up of the Jerry Sandusky abuse scandal. Recently, CNN reported that Paterno and university officials sought to cover up Sandusky's sexual abuse of young boys and last week's Freeh Report cited Penn State officials for a "total disregard for the safety and welfare of Sandusky's child victims by the most senior leaders at Penn State."
Despite what appears to be a mountain of evidence beginning to build against the once revered Paterno, Harris is steadfast in his belief that his former coach wouldn't be involved in a cover up.
"After I read the Freeh Report, I feel even more strongly about Joe and about his non-involvement in any type of cover-up. There was no cover up," Harris told WPXI in an exclusive interview. "No way would Joe ever cover-up anything like this. No way would Joe protect Sandusky or protect the football program."
Harris isn't the only Penn State player to fumble a defense of Paterno and their alma mater as ESPN analyst and former Nittany Lion great Matt Millen has been vehement in protecting his former coach's legacy. As recently as July 12 when the Freeh Report was filed, Millen was still trying to patronize Paterno, only acknowledging in an ESPN interview that a "mistake" was made in Paterno's role in handling Sandusky's known rape incidents. IOWs, any that dare defend Paterno, are DIRT----
But Harris especially seems to wearing blue and white colored glasses, perhaps tainting his credibility. (edit: just another ; Harris defends Paterno, he is therefore without CREDIBILITY because he played for Paterno. We are Media We Are Truth---Paterno is an EVIL Man!! This is NOT a country, it is a sideshow freak show, with ambitious rotten people telling us what is truth!)
Last November shortly after Paterno was fired from Penn State, Harris was gung-ho in going after the university's Board of Trustees for the decision. He sought to distance the football program from the Sandusky scandal — a link that now appears stronger than ever.
"They really wouldn't give a reason. They're linking the football program to the scandal and, possibly, the cover-up. That's very disturbing to me," Harris told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review about Paterno's firing. "I think there should be no more connection to the football program, only in the case that it happened at the football building with an ex-coach. I'm still trying to find out who gave him access to the building, who signed that contract."( EdT:how DARE Harris bring up an intelligent question about that---media wants you to believe it was EVIL EVIL Paterno, that signed the contract---don't dare raise doubts in our mind---we are going destroy forever Paterno--that is what we want that is wht we will get, because we are getting GOOD RATINGS, the public loves this!)
Harris seems to still hold the image of Paterno that most of America had this time last year when the venerable legend of State College was hailed for his integrity as much as for his winning ways with the Nittany Lions. Despite Paterno's alleged role in the scandal - a role that kept Sandusky walking the streets freely until his conviction on June 22 - Harris downplayed his former coach's involvement.
"All of the focus has been on Joe. People blame him more than anybody else and he played such a minor part in all of this," Harris said.

Self-righteous two bit bloodlust rock throwiing G-dlike knowers , you are certain, you know the inner Paterno .Though with all you could have been taken that in by Sandusky as were many many others(therefore you all would be EVIL men , of course). You all need search yourself why you can become venomous snakes over a man that can NOT defend himself----all of Silicon Investor can go to its self glorifying delusional view of them selves as people incapable of being taken in.. i denounce this this thread/ i denounce self righteous creeps like you, and if Paterno were alive i would volunteer to be his head defender if after a prolonged interview i was able to satisfy myself of his not being guilty beyond belief in the lies of a master psychopath, one John Sandusky. i would make you all look into the mirror of yourselves.

There was one evil man in this, and it was Sandusky(and the PS President and AD, i suspect). Joe Paterno at 72 was incapable of believing Sandusky actually did these things. Sandusky had been a coach for 30 years at State, loved by his players, before there was even a hint of trouble)Paterno said he knew he had the power, because of his name, but he felt he had no right to destroy a man that had managed to convince Paterno he was innocent and victim of smearing.
You have decided YOU KOW Paterno knew Sandusky was guilty--i say, that i would be but a voice in crying out in the face of a mindless salivating lynch mob. Crowds are impossible to talk too---so go have your glorification of how all knowing and Godly you are and cry for Paterno to be exhumed so you all can piss on his bones. You are all such Holy People, with God-like ability to see into Paterno's soul.The lynch Mob NOW Rules, meaning you rule NOW i will disturb you no more.
