I have to agree with George again. Most investors dont realize xoma gets royalties. Regarding IDEC.....My personal guess is not to worry about future competition, and remember ramp-up time needed. I would guess perhaps 100 mil sales in 98 and 200 mil in 99. (I hate High estimates)
I think 2% is reasonable, thats 2 mil then 4 mil. I think that would be the low end. Most probable is 4-8 mil in 99 IMO. Thats 25% of yearly expenses. Thats a lot. Then cd11a is anothr 8 mil, thats another 25%
Then there is connetics, diagnostics, production lisc. royalties ,etc. downstream. All in all thats the underlying foundation. If/when we add a bpi deal then that completes the picture.
Regarding bpi results from all the trials I think it paints a confusing picture to some. There is some data, some results. The potential is there. I think bpi molecule is a key player, yet they seem to be missing something. IMO we should be getting more solid results from the molecule(not that the results arnt good, just not a blowout)) Perhaps the lbp assay will solve that. Dont know. I dont know how they will solve the mystery, but if they do its the jackpot.
In the meantime we certainly have lots to hope for with all the trials.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.....................
