Sen. Ron Johnson: 100-round rifle magazine is a ‘basic freedom’

I may be wrong but I thought I heard the gun jammed. I 'd guess a 20 shot magazine could be exchanged in a few seconds......so it is not clear to me the magazine size would have made that much difference. I do think that in a right to carry a concealed weapon state ( Fla, Texas, Vt. etc.) it is extremely likely that when a lone gunman confronts a relatively large number of citizens, at least one of them might be carrying a concealed weapon. I think that would more likely change the outcome than a smaller magazine. Look at the Florida internet cafe
shooting. Also, it is virtually certain that the Fort Hood outcome would have been very different had those soldiers been allowed to carry weapons on base.
