Norm, aka Mayflower Madam, although I wasn't able to locate "fresh Landes geese", I must also thank you for the liver ship recipe. I took a small taste and I must say, it's "Un v‚ritable d‚lice".
I especially like the last part: "Once the small-talk of your Thanksgiving dinner turns to petty bickering, it's time to break out the bottle of Rothschild Chateau Lafite 1964. Space the tastings between the "why Aunt Mary was too picky to get married" stories and the "Uncle Bob should never have given half his money to that tramp" repartee.
I'd love to post some of the other pearls of wisdom, but, after all, you posted it in the Clubhouse for a reason, right?
