Hi, thanks for looking me up and reminding me...this went off my "radar screen" and, wowsers, I see what you mean.

Am I right about this...the bad news of the ER is out of the way, no foreseeable bad news, has weathered the market storm and the stock is still hanging in like this?

What do the technicals like BOP and A/C say right now?

If momentum types collaborated this could get very interesting. I have no idea why people short 9$ and 10$ stocks. The gain is finite: if the company goes bk they get 9 or 10 at best; if the stock goes up for various and sundry reasons, the loss is not measurable. On this level sometimes shorts can short themselves into what I call a "short trap" ( just the opposite of a bull trap). The problems are about the same and are exacerbated by low volume and a limited number of MMs.

How many MMs are in the stock...the fewer the better for an effective and productive squeeze.

Shorts, don't get me wrong...shorting is an effective way to make a $, but as with any position, there are problems associated with each and every case.
