Well its probably considered off topic as my kids are a bit older now. But I do have an enlightening story from the wedding.
Both the bachalor and bachalorette events were a couple days before the the wedding and both started at the same time from my house. A couple days later I got a recap from both sides.
The difference between guys and gals
10 guys, dressed well, head into the party bus. loaded with food, booze etc. Off they go.
10 gals, dressed so skimpily that I hesitate to call them clothes. what do they do paint that stuff on? anyway I digress. get into the hummer stretch limo, loaded with food, booze etc. Off they go.
Guys hit a nightclub. $20 cover. walk in order drinks. having a good time. A bit to good and asked to quiet down a bit. Another round and a few drinks for some girls. Apparently Too good a time, got a bit rowdy and quietly ushered out.
Girls hit a nightclub. Ushered past line into the club, no cover. Walk in and a group of guys order them drinks. Get a bit noisy, but so does everyone else. martinis begins to flow and they start getting rowdy. they are "banished" to the VIP area.
guys hit next night club. Long line, tip the door man a few hundred and get in (plus cover). Place hopping. buy lots of drinks for themselves and anything in a skirt (apparently). Getting rowdy, dance on the bar get thrown out. hit the party bus with some new friends restock and refood. Drag in around 4am. Had a great time! lots of fun. about 3 grand worth of fun.
Girls get invited to the super hot next nightclub. No line, no cover. walk in the drinks are flowing. getting a bit rowdier and the champagne corks start popping. Start dancing on the bar, everyone starts dancing on the tables. the place is rocking. Close the place, huddle back into the limo and home. About 4:15 am. Costs? huh? blank stares. did anyone even bring any money? Oh daddy your so silly. |
