Thanks for the link Don! Do you remember the time a few months before the techs started tanking and went into the downturn back in 1995? I remember how the tech sector was in a crazed frenzy running up and up.
I remember on CNBC how everyday you'd see in the winners and losers section mostly techs in the winners group. Almost every stock had an incredible run. I think this is the time that we get manipulated the most. It is the time that the funds are selling into the frenzy and dumping their huge shares without notice and then within 3 to 6 months it's too late for the little guys.

I think the same is true on the bottom side. I think this rediculous selling and depressed prices and not reacting to anything positive for any amount of time, is an environment created artificially so the funds can start buying in huge quantities again. If you notice all the economic indicators that drive the market throughout the year are now of no consequence. The data is ignored and the new artificial concern is Asia. Asia has been and rightfully so as an incredible market for the future, that hasn't changed. All of these corrections their systems are going through are going to produce a much better than expected environment than before. In 1987, we had a major brokerage house go under, did that mean a bear market, no on the contrary it was the start of an incredible bull market.

What I am saying is that when the market gets over exhuberant either way, you can take it to be otherwise, and within 3 months the real story will start to show itself. Maybe that's why contrarians do so well.

What we just went through was the major bottom point from this last mini bear market in techs that started in 1995. We will now get the start of the real bull market that will last 2 to 3 years, minor corrections will come but the overall direction will be up. I hope we all make the most of it!

I know those in this thread will do well.
