I am not necess a supporter of QE, but it is IMHO not a good idea to make generalized assertions and assert they are always true.

QE will add jobs by supplying funds to satisfy unmet but unaffordable "demand" in situations where:

1. The work is not outsourced or performed by robotics.

2. The QE is targeted at the non plutocrat classes (not the bankers).

Of course, QE as a policy cannot go on forever.

Ultimately infationary of course.

As a side note to this, and what's being ignored, is that robotics is eliminating lots of middle class jobs.

There is an exhaustive decussion of that here, including effects on society. We do not discuss that because it does not fit with prevailing ideology.

Still, big problem, solution, or both depending on how dealt with.
