Well yeah, they lied and made it stick because it was just complicated enough for them to successfully parse. But I have seen that speech many times and I KNOW what Obama said. Romney is blatantly lying and misrepresenting it and that should be very worrisome to people that they might elect such a blatant liar.

The reason that this one is sticking so well is that it confirms Obama's previous actions and his previous statements. Y'all can call Romney a liar all you want and it won't change the truth of what Obama said and it won't shift the focus to Romney. Obama owns his words and his words are very clear in their meaning.
