A few bay leaves, yes, and there's Phil the philodendron, whose leaves are mostly yellowish, but still attached to him.

I suspect the rouble is tricky. Trouble with weird currencies is taht if you trade 'em I should think unless you're braindead you'd want to have some good reason to think the one you're interested in would go up or down, which would mean learning a lot about the country and region in question. Not so simple: I've lived here for almost twenty years and still can't figure out when it's a good time to deposit a dollar check.

Seems to me taht in order to do well with this one might have the best luck just piling on behind the Big Boys. They go after the HK dollar? YOU go after the HK dollar. (And it seems now they're all saying once again that the peg won't hold...) Might work if you didn't get greedy (though my guess is that if you'd tried to play HK so far you wouldn't be much ahead of the game, unless you started several months ago).

Alternatively you can simply wait till you think the dollar's peaked against the yen or dmark and short it...

Or you can finish raking the leaves...
