Farmboy, No! I was called up during the Cuba Crisis, during my senior year in undergraduate school, passed the white line test, and was drafted and scheduled to be sent out in two weeks. However, it never occurred since President Kennedy, settled the Cuban crisis and my draft board never called me up. I had graduated from undergraduate school and accepted a teaching job in the same community where I had graduated. I to this day do not know why I was not called up since I never asked or applied for any deferments.

The only thing that comes to my mind, is that I began teaching in a public school system.
