SAN DIEGO, CA, Jul 26, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- LRAD Corporation (LRAD), the world's leading provider of long range acoustic hailing devices (AHDs), announced today it has received a LRAD 2000X systems order for a foreign border trial installation. If the trial installation is successful, the Company anticipates receiving larger follow-on orders.

The LRAD 2000X is the world's loudest AHD and broadcasts powerful warning tones and multi-language voice messages in a 30 degrees - 60 degrees beam over distances up to 5.7 miles.
