I posted the article on the healthcare thread: Message 28296207 Maybe will get around to comment, later. Basically, the article is interesting and contains many good ideas. The downside, IMO, is that it's all top down - actions which the government "ought" to take to improve the mess they have created. More likely than not, such government action will create a greater mess. I would have the government run a cheap, basic safety net for people who can't or don't want to purchase private insurance -- and deregulate to the max the rest of the industry. Let market forces help us find the right solutions and pricing.
