I did not not start with the phrase "reluctant to change." You did. BUT, I agreed with is because it is essentially correct, if not palatable. As I quoted the Wikipedia, the true meaning of the word is: "a political and social philosophy that promotes retaining traditional institutions and supports, at most, minimal and gradual change in society." "Reluctant to change" is a succinct way of saying the same thing...anyway, I think we have beat this to death.
