Neil the following is nothing more than a guess on your part. "You state "flood of bad news".....What bad news???? Heidelberg decreasing orders from 80 to say 40 or 50???" PRST only stated that they were discussing next years requirements. I still don't believe the installed numbers being batted around. I was told a month ago that there were 150 QM-DI's installed and consuming plates in the U.S. This source's guess was 300 around the globe. That is apparently corroborated by Paul's post from the recently completed PRST web site. If this in fact is the true #, Heidelberg may in fact be sitting on some 550-600 kits by December 31, 1987! Happy Thanksgiving to all.
