Cymeed, sorry but I don't agree with your post. The shorts don't control the market. In the final analysis it's the company and its prospects. Many a short has come up short as the price of the stock continues up. Think changes in short positions may have more significance. A large unchanging short position to me is more bullish than bearish. A sudden spurt in shorts is more troublesome as there may be a reason for the change and the ordinary shreholders are usually the last to know.
