That's so "19th Century." First you have to look at history and realize that every politically run State eventually fails. We have come the closest to freedom, but have been losing it for a Century. Start thinking "outside the box." >>

More nonsense. If you look at the last century what you will see is an ever increasing move from dictatorships to republics/democracy.

And if you look at the most successful ones like Denmark that have sky high taxes, they have very few rich and very few poor and a very rich middle class. They also have universal health care and almost free education for everyone up to a PHD and they can take as long as they want.

The people obey the law, and are considered the happiest people on earth.

Isn't a happy society the point of life?

And they vote for those high taxes because they understand the value!
