Off the top of my head, I favor vouchers for school choice. That's a new concept, but one which is worth giving a try.

Though I'm not sure how to get there, I like the idea of adjusting health insurance in the direction of coverage for large bills only. Right now, if people get the flu, their insurance covers their visit to a doctor. People really need insurance for things like cancer that is going to cost them a lot. If auto insurance covered things like oil changes, imagine how expensive it would be. That's a change from anything we've had in the past half century plus.

I favor open carry laws for firearms, something we haven't had for over a century in most places.

OK, there's three changes that would be radically different from the past. If I thought about it, I could come up with more. Those were off the top of my head. And they're all changes designed to maximize people's choices and liberty.
