I'm surprised by the International Olympic Committee taking such a hard line.

If you're dependent on networks paying out billions for TV rights to keep your organization afloat, you'd be overly protective as well.

Apparently the American archery team lost the gold to Italy today in a nailbiter. NBC spent two minutes on it and then went back to full coverage of a worthless preliminary swimming event -- c'mon!
