Nonsense. More right wing Ayn Randian insensitive thinking.

The vast majority of Canadian's, Kiwi's, Aussies, Danes, British, etc like their universal health care and think we are nuts.

Every western democracy has universal health care but us, because we are uncivilized and stupid. We can't let sick people suffer. Only a barbaric society would think that is OK.

The overhead for medicare is much less than private insurance.

And if you get a heart attack or hurt real badly, most likely paramedics will get to you in a few minutes and stabilize you, just by dialing 911. And you will be very grateful because they saved your life.

It was an emergency medical services system, government grant to the states, under PL-93-154 that gave that to you.

Right wingers don't think anything can be done because they don't know how to do it, or don't care about other people.
