The federal government we have is intent on usurping every bit of power constitutionally the province of state and local governments. If Bachmann, Palin and the Tea Party "crazies" (another label) can stop it from further micromanaging our lives I'm all for it. "Rich & powerful"? The Feds could bring down anyone you chose to name if they wanted, given the labyrinth of thousand-page laws & regulations that are more and more difficult to comply with. And I agree with Top Cat about voter ID.
