So you are saying that Mobil, although it has a nice dividend, would not be as good of an investment as perhaps CPQ, INTC, IBM, or even VVUS, or BGEN/AMGN? Would any part of the oils at all be good for 20 or more years? Or, if I own Mobil, should I sell it and put the money into IBM or INTC? The reason I am saying this, is because mobil has only gone from like 60 to 70, in general, so far this year. Many others have gone up much more. Is that only this year, or will Mobil never catch up to IBM with 20% or more returns in the future? Or is the sector considered safe in case of a bear market? Is this sector a good one to play for retirement? Boy, I have so many questions!!!!
To me, it seems that in the next 20 years or more, techs will be king, and the rest will go along slowly. I also believe that especially in the next 5-10 years, the biotechs will grow A LOT quicker.
Thanks for the input, it helps!
