Re: ROCKWOOD HOLDINGS - ROC

A lot of insider sells at the end of March. Three out of four directors sold very large positions around $52/share. Not sure if they see a slowing economy or they all just needed the money.

On a positive, BV has increased four of the last five years.

Still because of acquisitions, TBV is only at $1.56/share.

With such high margins, I would expect to see a bit higher ROA:

Return on Assets (ROA)7.7%
Return on Equity (ROE)23.7%

Also not much of a dividend history. According to YAHOO, since August 2005, only one quarterly dividend has been paid; Jun 22, 2012 in the amount of $0.35/sahre Dividend.

Finally, here is a price comparison chart of ROC vs HUN,KRO,KRA. ROC has under performed on the five year chart so maybe it will outperform over the next five years.

Therefore, this may be a good candidate stock for the group to review in the next round. I will give it a "YES" vote.
