``If there were really no need for God, why does every human society have some sort of religion?``

Don`t be foolish. Every society needs answers to unknown questions. The membership in most societies is still very ignorant and unable to find meaning in their lives without blindly following some voice of authority. You might as well ask why we have myth and story and talking animals in every society? You know there really is no Peter Rabbit, don`t you? And the Greek, Christian, and myriad other anthropomorphisms of Nature creatures are likewise inventions.

If there were really no need for talking animals and impossible supernatural beings...then why does every human society have them??

And why are they all different, did you say?! -g- Look inward, young Grasshopper...
