That's why the TeaParty has a backing. It's not business as usual..... Where were these people when 'deficits don't matter' according to Cheney or the quadrupuling of the military industrial complex post 9/11 or skyrocketing local government outlays during the housing bubble? These same people chose the direction we took in those crucial years from 2002-05 when the game changed. Even today no one can agree on even trimming the military even though it is mandated if no compromise is reached... I am sure if Romney and the GOP get to control everything 20013-16 will look a lot like 2002-05 again for better or for worse so short term gain and longer term even bigger pain yet again
