Government does a thousand very different things, every day. Far, far, far more than even the most diversified company. They have their fingers in virtually everything that happens in this country, from commerce and trade to legal and prisons to stop signs and concrete specification to zoning and landscaping, on and on, everything.Which is one of the main reasons why 10 to 15% would be a good record for government (along with the lack of competition and the ability to extract funds rather than having to find willing buyers).

Try to do so much, and your unlikely to get great performance. Concentrate on the low hanging fruit and your success rate will be much higher.

I'm just sayin what an amazing job our governments do, everyday, on thousand of routine things. That you dont count. They are remarkably good given the task.
I remember most of my life thinking we had, hands down, the best government in the history of the world, a great source of pride in America. Everybody thought that, even Republicans.
Now, you and yours TRASH our government, everyday in everyway. The USA has become the enemy. It's not true Tim, and it's bad to promote that lie. It's not good for anyone. |
