Denmark has been studied by scientists.

Sure. And they can get reasonably objective data about gross production per capita, income per capita, gini coefficents for income and/or expenditure, etc.

None of which results in - "Denmark is paradise, and we should adopt their system of high taxes, universal health care, "free" education, etc?"

That last statement involves a judgement call, of a type that is not and can not be determined rigorously by science. Its not a scientific statement, even more mild versions of it, like Denmark's social and political setup is better (or worse) than that of the US, are not scientific.
