How about another box. We don't need QE because QE doesn't work to stimulate the economy. QE is like pouring gasoline in an engine with no transmission. Yes, the engine(financial markets) revs for a short time, but without a transmission attached to the economy, nothing happens. Maybe the FED announces another QE and the market tanks because the FED is already leveraged over 50-to-1 and it's known QE doesn't work.
