All the previous answerers are living in the past..the UK has not had "Free" dental care for years..there is the NHS dental system but it`s not free, just not as expensive as "private" and most new dental pracices do not take NHS patients, so unless you are un-employed, a child, a student,in permanent education or "chronically ill" you have to pay
