what if the 2 guys walked in holding hands and wanted to buy donuts.....as a shopkeeper you plan to refuse service?

sure, he can deny service to a gay couple and like you say the gays can protest....this does nothing to advance the 'cause' of being against same sex marriage, instead it just makes the baker look like a mean-spirited jerk and makes the poor, discriminated against gays look good by comparison...

i think the baker is possibly on thin ice for denying service though....in the case of chick fil-a, the ceo was using his first amendment rights to express his opinion, but in no way conducts his business in such a way to deny serving any gays ( see antoine dodson ) or hiring, iow, he is fully compliant with discrimination laws...denying service is pretty much the same as what rahm emanual is doing, trying to deny business activity because of the religious view of cathy.....

see what a slippery slope this is?

obama must be relishing this sideshow
