the way i read the law is that the baker is refusing service on the basis of religion....HIS

it's the opposite side of the same coin

put it this way.....

if christians considered dogs 'unclean' (as the islamists do) would they be correct in demanding that no one be able to enter their establishment with a guide dog? can't get a wedding cake if you come in with a guide dog, even though it is the law that service dogs are to be admitted?

this is difficulty you get into when you live in a secular state, with secular laws, some of which *may* run counter to your religious beliefs....
