There are gay people who are afraid of being gay and are scared/confused enough to live as a straight person. This doesn't mean that they changed their mind when they finally faced the reality. It is not unreasonable to think the reverse can also be true. There is nothing anyone can say or do to turn me gay. So I don't buy that it is a matter of choice, at least not for many people.

You never told me about the statistics of curing gayness?
