I appreciate the discussion we had so far on ADM and ROC. DVN came in late and has not received much voting support. I like CMI very much and there hasn't been much discussion. ADM got a lot of votes and I think there are several candidates that are better.

Putting stocks in sectors may not be necessary and we might be just wasting time moving stocks from one classification to another. Let's finalize our picks and then see if we're overloaded.

Let's make the process easier by eliminating stocks. There are 47 nominees. 24 candidates received at least 4 votes each. Let's look at the 23 stocks that received less than 4 votes. Of these stocks, does anyone want to present a reason why the individual stock should be reconsidered? Make a pitch and we can vote for survival to the next round or automatic elimination. Time limit on this first round of elimination is Sunday.

The complete list of stocks along with the voting totals are in the thread header.

The next step would be to do an elimination round for those stocks that received 4 votes and so on. When we have our list down to 15 or so, let's have a final voting round and the top ten will be our portfolio unless there's an overloading issue.
