Good Lord... I'm humiliated ... But I've been mislead by those reviewers and posters that was as surprise as me of the lack of landscape possibility. It's only now that I see a Nexus 7 Book in my library. So sorry. It's not the first time :-( re:"Huh??? Nexus 7 works just fine in landscape. Pull down notifications. The portrait/landscape switch is right there right next to settings with a lock in it. Touch it and it will switch to a tablet. For the launcher, download nova launcher from the Google Play store. In nova settings look and feel->screen orientation->auto-rotate You can set the font size (small, normal, large, huge). I LOVE my Nexus 7. Best tablet by far. Period.
