I take the lack of posting activity to mean he was probably disciplined enough to take his trading profits, as he'd said, and, reasonably enough, didn't find it useful to re-enter right in the middle of what looks like the most amazing trading abortion that we've ever witnessed, as it was being performed yesterday...

I'd heard the rumors that Knight was at serious risk and facing BK... Will have to go back and look at the timing of those inputs, now... but, surprising to me, still to see that it was NOK right there at the top of the leaders list in the dark ones automated trading snafu ?

Amazing enough in itself, too, that their software had apparently confused "up" with "down" ? But, that it took them half an hour to NOTICE it ?

Wowsers.

I've not done the math... I wonder what portion of the NOK volume yesterday was nothing but Knight churning through shares in automated trading ... and executing on the wrong side of their own trades ?

I think that's a remarkable bit of market history we just observed...
