Atin, You cite the connectivity of the DSP to datacom boards as a compatability issue, this is only the case if you wish to mix and match DSP and datacom boards. Please bear in mind that FTEL are not in the market of selling the individual boards so the proprietary interface is not an issue. Did you ever wonder why they have a proprietary connection and therefore don't sell the boards individually? This is NOT a decision that any company takes lightly. Martin Smith
