Edward, Thanks for the info on the Iomega disks.

I was very pleased with my trip to Computer City to see that they had devoted about 75% more shelf space to Iomega products than Syquest or Imation. There was also a lot of activity around the Zip and Jaz drives so I can see that people are very interested in the removeable media.

Does anyone know if Sony has presented a prototype of their newly announced drive? They seem to be the most apparent threat to Iomega. Other than that it looks to me like Iomega is winning the war for the floppy replacement and 1998 should be a banner year for the stock.
