How much of the PureView tech is proprietary ?

They have a development lead, but a determined competitor with cash ought to be able to come up with something along the same lines fairly quickly (18 months ?).

What would be really cool would be a couple of PureView chips sharing the same processors, one with a mild telephoto stuck in front of it (what would be possible in a reasonable sized package, and how much cost would be added by the extra photo module ?).
