I'm not sold on the inevitability of the success of their new product launches...
Unless the flagship Windows 8 Lumia rumored to come out is September includes Nokia's best in class PureView phonecam technology featured in the Symbian Nokia 808 PureView, then I have no reason for optimism, as far as NOK is concerned.

And rumors have it that the Windows 8 Lumia will feature the same camera as the Lumia 800 and 900. If that is the case, I have reason for pessimism, as far as NOK is concerned.
and it appears to me both that the market has already factored in the inevitability of that success... and that they've been sold a load of crap in the fluffing of the numbers in the last Q...

Pair that with the obviously manipulative games being played in the market with bogus buyout rumors... with "noise" about insider buying... that looks to me far more like a transfer of ownership enabled through accelerated gifting in options...
Indeed. There is something going on with the left hand that Nokia is trying not to show us, while we are supposed to believe what the right hand they are waving around is doing.
and a chart that shows a less than spectacular technical correction based on the breaking of the pinch ?

As a pinch chart play... I'd take profits on the trade...
I did, when my stop triggered last week, @ $2.50. Sits there right now, if I wanted to get back in. I don't.
As an investment... I'm still looking for reasons that the 6 year monthly chart isn't what I should be focused on.

What I note there is a VERY consistent pattern showing year long plateaus... followed by step declines occurring in April, May and June each year following... which is exactly what we just saw occur... again...

Welcome to the new NOK, just like the old NOK... but a year older and 50% lower...
Yup, cheers to that. :-)
