Crap .. dynamic picture again .. One filtered view shows something like a shotgun pattern as the x-rays leave the sun. I'll have to use a screen cap the next time I see it. Below is the same view as the last post above. This is how it looks today: The orange areas are the flare that went off at the time listed. This is the first location I look to see it something is going off: swpc.noaa.gov
