OT: I am all for SpaceX and private enterprise. However, I also think it silly to suggest that NASA did poor job with Curiosity when there is nothing to compare to. It's easy to project your dislike for government agencies and Monday morning quarterback, but the reality is that this is the best we as a planet have for now. You'd also howl against them if they put in a 41MP sensor and it failed because the software or HW was too new and not tested enough. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
