hello 2mar$, tonight’s report:

was jet lagged and needed to do a trade to offset holiday expenditures and balance annual budget, so executed below cloud-atm extractions

(i-a) bought (triangle petroleum) tplm @ 6.36
(i-b) sold tplm jan covered calls strike 7.50 @ 0.55
(i-c) sold tplm jan put strike 7.50 @ 1.65

it is too bad that tplm is not a gold share, but worthy black gold from the bakken field of merit is good enough for now especially as the company is de-risked as far as exploitation financing is concerned

the buy-price of 6.36, less the call n put premium of 2.20, results in cost basis of 4.16 for now.

there may be a coming chance to close-out the call between now n jan due to time-decay.

think the share should gravitate towards 10-20, but may not do straight line. If straight line, an 80% return (7.50 / 4.16) in 6 months is good enough.

should the share tank back to 5 due to whatever weather n market conditions, will then have overall cost basis 5.83 (still 8% lower than current mkt pricing) when put the additional same again count of shares.

(ii) i sold (nu skin) nus dec put strike 40 @ 3.70

cnbc is chanting re detoxifying china-concepts from portfolio, so I bought nus china concept that had already been felled by the dark side
