To all our resident traders:

Lately it seems that every time AMAT makes any significant move upward(1-2 pts), the sellers jump on and drive the price back down to what I consider depressed and unwarranted low levels. I called my broker today to ask them not to lend out any of the shares in my account for others to short. I was told that I had signed an agreement(I use margin) and that lending my shares out was part of my agreement. Is there any way of preventing this? It's somewhat ironic that my own shares might be currently being sold and driving down the stock price causing me great pain. Just think if all on SI put a lock on their shares. Big Bucks alone could cause a short squeeze<G> Of course we make up such a small %, but it might still cause the shorts to go running sooner than they otherwise would. Let's crucify these SOB's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Regards,

Brian
