Hi Zman,

Me either - but would it be better to have curtailed spending vs austerity.

Should the problems be addressed when the US pays 1.6 percent for a 10 year or 7% for a 10 year treasury.

I think it is responsible to start early before extreme austerity is imposed by the most unforgiving force in the world - the free markets.

Hope this is not percieved as a political comment - not intended to be.
