Medicare is a form of socialized medicine, but many Americans don’t realize that. But Americans — especially seniors who live in places like West Palm Beach — do know what Medicare is and they like it. Ryan has proposed a plan that changes it dramatically. And now Romney — formerly the nothing-but-jobs candidate — has to run with that hanging around his neck. That could be a heavy burden for a candidate already suffering from the impression that he favors the very wealthy over regular people.
