The big problem there is that they are giving money to BOTH sides. What's wrong with this picture? Well, from the perspective of an individual citizen who wants ONE side to win, everything is wrong with this picture. From the perspective of a large, corporate machine who needs to maximize his friends in Congress and the White House, it's a shrewd business move that is quite common to most businesses. Unfortunately, it is terrible for America that corporations are funding both sides. Very terrible indeed.
